What to look for in a city tee

  • Legible from across a room. If you have to explain it, the design failed.
  • One idea, not five. The good ones pick a single mark and give it space. The bad ones cram a skyline, a leaf, a slogan and a maple syrup bottle onto one chest.
  • A colour you would wear. Black and cream go with everything. Neon does not.
  • Made to last. Printed on demand does not mean flimsy. Check the blank the print sits on.
